Show your body some love with this vibrant and nourishing beet and berry smoothie bowl! Frozen raspberries get pureed with banana, steamed beets, and beet greens for a creamy, luscious base before getting topped with fresh berries, hemp hearts, cacao nibs, and a spoonful of almond butter. It makes for the perfect Valentine's Day breakfast and can easily be doubled to share with someone you love!

Ingredients

  • Smoothie Base

  • 1 cup diced beets, steamed and cooled
  • ½ cup beet greens, steamed and cooled
  • 1 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tbsp ground flax (optional)
  • ⅓ cup plant milk
  • Splash of vanilla extract
  • Toppings

  • Fresh raspberries
  • Cacao nibs
  • Hemp hearts
  • Coconut flakes
  • Pumpkin Seeds
  • Almond Butter

Preparation

Blend

Combine all smoothie ingredients in a high speed blender and puree until smooth but thick then transfer to a bowl.

Add Toppings

Garnish with fresh raspberries, cacao nibs, hemp hearts, coconut flakes, pumpkin seeds, and almond butter.
